The Credit Controller with be responsible for:

  • Sending invoices to customers
  • Allocating cash
  • Investigating any unmatched payments
  • Query resolution
  • Reviewing customer accounts, placing on stop when necessary
  • Creating new customer accounts
  • Aged debt reporting
  • Working closely with the sales team to implement strategies for credit control
  • Reviewing customer credit ratings and setting up terms and conditions of credit
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations

The Successful Applicant:

The successful Credit Controller should have:

  • A proven track record within a similar role
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Detailoriented and organised work approach
  • Good understanding of credit control procedures and relevant legal requirements
