About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Control Manager to join our dynamic finance team at Watkin Jones. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring timely payments and minimising discrepancies, while continually looking for ways to improve the debt collecting process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the end-to-end invoicing process, including monthly contract applications, commercial invoices and rentals.
  • Record and reconcile incoming receipts and payments, arrange banking and process associated journals.
  • Proactively chase payments, including retentions and minor debts.
  • Produce regular and ad-hoc reporting and support the completion of month end activities within required deadlines.
  • Provide miscellaneous support as needed to management and other relevant internal personnel and clients.

About You

We are looking for an individual with previous experience in a credit control position, who possesses strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. A professional attitude, ability to work independently, and education/qualifications to a level of NVQ 3, 'A' Level, BTEC National or equivalent qualifications or equivalent experience are essential. AAT or similar is desirable.
