Job Purpose:

As an experienced learning and development specialist you will bring a focus on leadership growth and life skills, you will excel in designing and delivering tailored programmes to meet organisational needs. Through engaging workshops and coaching sessions, you will empower colleagues to enhance their leadership abilities and develop their essential life skills. You will collaborate with your team to share knowledge and industry best practice as well as across the organisation to understand departmental development needs.

The role will include but is not limited to:

  • Deliver training to colleagues across the business on a variety of topics including induction, technical, soft skills, and e-learning as required.
  • Work collaboratively across the business to update/maintain training materials to keep them in line with organisational requirements.
  • As needed consult with external suppliers to ensure high quality Learning & Development experiences.
  • To implement the Learning and Development strategy, including Development Needs Analysis, Personal Development Planning and, talent and succession planning.
  • Update and maintain the administration within Learning & Development, including the learning management system.

Candidate Profile:

  • Level 3 L&D qualification completed (CIPD advantageous)
  • Minimum 3 years design and delivery experience
  • Able to establish close working relationships with key stakeholders across the business.
  • Able to adapt communication style across all levels of stakeholder.
  • Able to deliver on full development cycle and to guide less experienced colleagues.
  • Cheerful outlook and 'can-do' mindset
  • Genuinely enthusiastic about developing people.
  • Future focused, professional, and engaging.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and best practice.

Hours and Days:

  • Monday – Friday 37.5 Hours

This role involves a mixture of home and office working from our St Neots office
