It is a requirement that all staff understand it is each person's individual responsibility and are committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of Children and Vulnerableadults.
- Coordinates and organises the local implementation and delivery of the company's learning and development strategy.
- Promotes, organises and coordinates the My Elysium Learning (MEL) programme ensuring all staff receive the appropriate level and type of training and development required as agreed with the employee's line manager.
- Liaises with educational establishments, training providers and other related agencies to ensure that local training and development is delivered to time, cost and quality standards in accordance with the company policy and statutory regulations.
- Provides support, advice and guidance to local line managers existing staff and new recruits on all aspects of learning and development.
- Coordinates and monitors the staff appraisal process proving advice and guidance on the procedural aspects of the scheme and providing regular status reports on local completing rates.
- Organises and implements new starters Inductions.
At least 2 years experience within a relevant training or administrative environment where the role holder has been responsible for a specific process requiring highly effective organisational skills.
This role requires highly developed interpersonal and written communication skills in order to deal with a variety of people at all levels, within difference situations both within and outside the company.
Staff - Provides guidance and assistance to staff and line managers.
Budgets & equipment - Collective responsibility for the care and security for equipment andconsumables on site.
Informatics - Responsible for the security, confidentiality and accuracy of data, information and systems.
Accountable for the co-ordination and delivery of local learning and development programmes and for recording and reporting accurate information to support the process.
Organises and priorities own work where the majority of decision fall within establishedprocedures, but consults with specialist advisors within the central Learning and Development function on more complex policy issues.
