Support the execution of a service and solutions projects (Energy Industries, Chemicals, Oil & Gas) and ensure that all project activities are performed in accordance with ABB policies, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.

Your responsibilities
  • Responsible for the delivery of numerous service and solution projects within ABB Energy industries.
  • Lead the engineering teams with clear guidelines, tasks, and milestones, while motivating and providing feedback.
  • Monitor each stage of project implementation to ensure best practices in quality, cost control, resource efficiency, risk management, and health, safety, and environment.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Lead the project team, defining goals, outputs, allocating project tasks, and motivating and monitoring internal and external resources to accomplish all tasks and milestones. Provide performance feedback regarding allocated resources working on projects.
  • Production of project governance documents, including schedule, risk, HSE, quality, financial and risk management plans.
  • Monitor and control project financials, overseeing project invoicing status, cost, expenses and cash flow. Identify, quantify and manage project risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure that the project consistently applies contract and claims management, in accordance with ABB policies and contractual agreements.
  • Coordinate with Supply Chain Management to procures required services, materials and equipment for the project from external and internal suppliers. Support Supply Chain Management in supplier negotiations, claims and project changes.
  • Act as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicate with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure the project follows and complies with company health, safety, quality and environmental policies.
  • Capture, analyze and shares lessons learned throughout the project. Ensures that the project is formally closed out, as contractually agreed. Drive the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out and its acknowledgement by the customer.
Your background
  • Up to three years of project management experience.
  • Proven track record of managing project scope, costs, schedule, and vendors/subcontractors.
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented approach, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have an engineering degree, technical degree, or project management certification.
  • Passion and willingness to develop in project management.
  • Willingness to travel when required and engage face to face with our customers.
