Job Title: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Clinician at Gloucestershire CAMHS

Gloucestershire CAMHS is a large service comprising Core CAMHS, Outreach Team, and Young Adults Service, focusing on supporting children, young people, and families with varying mental health needs.

A creative opportunity is available for a Band 5 clinician to enhance clinical skills across Core CAMHS and Outreach teams through a 2-year rotational program. This role offers diverse clinical experiences and the chance to develop skills from working with young children to young adults.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a variety of CAMHS assessment and treatment interventions for children and young people with mental health difficulties
  • Take clinical responsibility for a caseload, including risk assessments and management plans
  • Deliver clinical interventions in multidisciplinary teams across different settings

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Awareness of mental health legislation, safeguarding issues, and best practices
