We are a letting agency situated in the heart of Leeds but we are rapidly growing across W Yorkshire.

We are looking for a hardworking Handyman to oversee and manage a wide range of repairs, typically for individuals at residential or commercial locations.

These tasks include trade skills, repair work, maintenance work etc.


We are expecting you to be organized and have good time management skills as well as with strong general repair skills.


Key responsibilities:

  • Regularly perform maintenance jobs and light repairs
  • Regularly perform various landscaping tasks
  • Fill gaps and provide painting services
  • Perform lightning installation and carpeting
  • Repair equipment and various machines and appliances
  • Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work
  • Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed
  • Completing minor plumbing repairs such as fixing dripping taps or running toilet cisterns
  • Installing household appliances such as washing machines and dishwashers
  • Installing smoke and carbon monoxide alarms and regularly conduct fire alarm checks on all HMOs and units block that we managing
  • Fitting shelves, hanging pictures and installing window locks
  • Conducting emergency audits
  • Undertaking basic gardening
  • Negotiating the scope of work and timescales with clients
  • Providing itemised quotes and invoices
  • Conducting weekly safety check, reporting and problem solving.

Preferred

  • Previous experience in a maintenance delivery role
  • Contract and commercial Experience/knowledge
  • Excellent communicator both written and oral
  • Understanding of industry maintenance best practice
  • Experience of negotiating with workplace representatives
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement techniques and principles
  • Full Drivers Licence
