Are you a detail-oriented individual searching for a rewarding career opportunity? At our Salisbury based manufacturing organisation, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Quality Inspector to be part of our dynamic team.
As a Quality Inspector with us, your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality of incoming components. Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Quality Inspection: Use cutting-edge equipment for meticulous inspections of incoming components, consistently delivering top-notch results.
- Non-Conformance Reporting: Effectively address non-conformance reports to uphold production process integrity.
- Sample Inspection: Perform sample inspections and provide detailed reports to drive quality enhancements and decision-making.
Additionally, you will collaborate with suppliers to gain insights into their processes, contribute to fault-finding, containment, and countermeasure implementation. Your duties will involve processing production returns and more:
- Raising Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) as needed.
- Collaborating with the Production team to resolve product issues.
- Updating and managing technical drawings.
- Offering technical support across various departments.
- Identifying off-shelf items to address obsolescence.
- Maintaining component data accurately in our ERP system.
- Enhancing inspection history with new insights and visuals.
- Abiding by the company's Terms and Conditions.
- Stepping in for the Quality Supervisor in critical situations.
