Quality Inspector Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join our team at Hunter Selection Limited. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct incoming component inspections and report any defects or issues.
  • Raise and close off non-conformance reports in a timely manner.
  • Perform sample inspections and report on the results.
  • Work with suppliers to understand their processes and ensure compliance with our quality standards.
  • Process production returns to suppliers and update component information on our ERP system.
  • Raise ECNs (engineering change notices) for processing where necessary.
  • Fault find with the production team when product issues arise.

Requirements:

  • HNC or HND in a relevant discipline (ideally).
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers and inspecting parts.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
