The post holder will work as part of ateam providing Barnet Federated GPs services, predominately in the ExtendedAccess Service.

This role will involve working with clinicians in other Barnet FederatedGPs services, such as the Extended Hours Service (EHS), Smoking Cessationservice, and Anticoagulation Service, with the expectation of contributing toother services when directed by the Medical Director.

The role advertised under BFG T&Cs and not the model BMA contract.
We do not provide any form of sponsorship or work visas

Experienceof working in primary care;Soundknowledge of appropriate coding;Barnet Federated GPs CIC (BFG) is a not for profit organisation, putting GPs and healthcare professionals at the forefront of Primary Healthcare provision in Barnet.

The Federation is building a large clinical and non clinical team who will work as one in developing Primary Care Services in Barnet for its approximate 425,000 patients and support its Primary Care Networks.

We do not provide any form of sponsorship or work visas
They will work closelywith the Medical Director, and Chief Operating Officer.

They will form links and developrelationships with secondary care and GP Service colleagues and those workingin the wider healthcare community.

The post holder will ensure patients receiveoptimal care in the correct setting within the healthcare system. Health policies and standard operatingprocedures will be adhered to and, if relevant, refined.

This role will involve working with clinicians in other Barnet FederatedGPs services, such as the Extended Hours Service (EHS), Smoking Cessationservice, and Anticoagulation Service, with the expectation of contributing toother services when directed by the Medical Director.

Medical Degree

  • Committed to the delivery of high quality clinical care within a framework of Clinical Governance.
Awareness of local Safeguarding policies and relevant legislative guidance.
Ability to demonstrate sensitivity to the needs of patients in a multi cultural community in service delivery.
Knowledge and understanding of a range of NHS primary care and community services.
Understanding of the issues involved in working across the interface between primary and secondary care.
Up-to-date with NHS policies and practices.
Understanding of the role of the Care Quality Commission
