To demonstrate the Trusts values and behaviours in all aspects of work and interactions with colleagues, stakeholders, and patients.

To analyse, interpret and communicate complex EDI statistical data clearly through reports to relevant stakeholders using a variety of formats to do this, for example, statistical data, graphs and narrative.

To work on completing relevant workstream activity such as plans on a page or workbooks as part of the People Agenda Ensure completion of Gender Pay Gap report, Annual Equality report, gathering relevant data for WRES and WDES metrics in a timely manner and ensuring uploads and deadlines for publications are met internally and externally.

To work with the networks leads to consider relevant action plans to address deficiencies within EDI to improve services alongside patient and staff experiences.


To present the reports and presentations to relevant groups in a clear and concise manner To work on initiatives that support colleague experience to include e.g I Excel, Fab Friday Work on specific workstreams and update regularly at Engagement meetings, EDI operational deliver groups and gather relevant information to update People Experience Transformation Board (PETB) meetings.

Work creatively and be an innovative member of the team, to seek out new ways of working and system developments that may be considered for the Trust.

Work closely with ICS EDI leads in order to share knowledge, joint working opportunities and develop GEH as part of the ICS.

Co-chair as a network lead and support work plans to discuss at EDI Operational Delivery Group To provide peer support and direction to junior members of the team as required.


Attend system-wide meetings on behalf of the organisations as necessary and take forward key pieces of work in conjunction with relevant Business partner/Head of People and Workforce Attend relevant virtual and face to face sessions to gathering support and learning to bring back to the Trust for education and experience purposes.

To support EDI in reviewing and reporting EDI performance by collecting, analysing and presenting qualitative and quantitative To act as a specialist source of EDI knowledge and To proactively champion, implement, monitor and report on the development of equality objectives to drive up performance on EDI where To actively engage with key external partners and internal teams and colleagues to support, advise, coordinate activities which ensures a delivery and outcomes focused approach to EDI service and workforce and service To design processes and documents for management reporting; gather and co-ordinate management information and intelligence necessary to monitor and assess To proactively provide specialist advice to EDI service and directorate champions and teams, in particular in the design, development and delivery of key equality objectives at a local To support the Equality Impact Assessment Promote good practice to meet national equality standards and frameworks, to improve access, equality of opportunity and outcome and wider participation, taking account of research, analysis, data feedback and consultation with Research, prepare and disseminate documents or other communications to ensure EDI remains a strategic priority and embedded in all of the Trusts business planning, delivery, monitoring and evaluation processes.

Work in collaboration with the communications team to develop Intranet/Internet site in relation to engagement and EDI activities to share and disseminate.

Actively engage in collaborative working with external partners and agencies to support cohesion between partner plans and efficient/effective development and delivery of Trust action provision, to maximise resources and funding Work with the EDI Operational Delivery Group in developing relationships with key equality organisations and key agencies working on the equality and diversity agenda locally, regionally, and nationally.
