- Working in a collaborative UK team, entertaining the world with best in class documentaries. This is an exciting opportunity to cover 15 months of parental leave. We are seeking an experienced Post Production Executive to support our internal teams and external partners to manage post production and deliver content to Netflix.
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the onboarding process (and any required training) for production companies and post supervisors to the Netflix ecosystem, tools, and resources
- Set up, schedule, and lead initial post kickoff process with the production partner introducing them to the post requirements
- Set up and attend ongoing post meetings for partnermanaged productions
- Oversee the calendars in Netflix tools to ensure production companies are inputting the latest and most up to date information on cuts, lock dates, finishing and deliverables
- Keep across all cuts during the editorial process ensuring they are being communicated to content teams and meeting deadlines
- Inputting all minimum data, and any other data that is known, into all relevant Netflix tools, and in a timely manner
- Coordinating the credit approvals process with production, content and legal
- Managing all clip requests that come in for marketing or press
- Organising screenings as required
- Responsible for ensuring we have internal creative lock before any final post work starts, and/ or managing change logs as appropriate
- Overseeing and managing the deliverables process ensuring all deliverables are coming in as per deadlines for internal teams including post paperwork and all post assets
- Collecting debrief documents from partners at the end of post
- Responsible for communicating to finance when all deliverables are in
- Any other duties as necessary to support the productions and the department
Desirable skills and experience:
- 5+ Years of Post Management experience working in nonfiction content
- Ability to handle a fast paced environment supervising several projects in various points of production (from development through delivery)
- Familiar with the current trends and workflows for both UHD/4K and HDR
- Ability to respond after hours for important, timely or urgent matters
- Teamplayer who operates in a fast paced teamoriented setting
- Ability to be discrete and maintain confidential information
- Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly
- Willingness to continue learning to ensure understanding of current post process
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides and Google Mail
