The chosen individual will play a crucial role in shaping renewal terms, securing customer loyalty with favorable conditions, and promoting new products to the existing customer base.

This position offers a myriad of growth opportunities, allowing insights into the company's offerings, underwriting techniques, and strategic planning.

Main Responsibilities

  • Managing underwriting processes for new and existing Commercial products within broker channels and Commercial Insurance lines.
  • Aiming to achieve set targets on a monthly basis, focusing on profitability, GWP, and conversion rates.
  • Enhancing sales expertise and understanding of sales and underwriting strategies through collaboration across different teams and regions.
  • Skilled negotiation with internal and external stakeholders, and establishing key contacts within broker networks.
  • Reviewing unusual underwriting decisions, leveraging the knowledge of product experts and senior team members.
  • Demonstrating initiative by identifying areas for process enhancement and suggesting innovative approaches to boost customer satisfaction and drive sustainable growth.

Main Requirements

  • Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in underwriting or a background in commercial insurance broking with a keen interest in transitioning to underwriting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm to commence ACII studies.
