I am currently assisting my client, a Manufacturer in Essex with the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant.


The salary for this role is £27k - £30k depending on experience, and the client requires someone ideally from the same or similar industry.


Key skills and requirements are:

  • Computer skills using Microsoft Word/Outlook and most importantly familiar with Excel, knowledge of Pivot Tables and Lookups is beneficial
  • Resolution of invoice queries related to all business departments
  • Post invoices to the Purchase Ledger ensuring authorisation procedures are followed
  • Maintain Supplier Master Data and bank/payment records
  • Assisting with the preparation of management accounts
  • Assisting with the implementation of new accounting controls and policies
