Ergonomic Assessment Specialist for Corporation

We are looking for an experienced
safety specialist to join our team
ideally with a physical therapy background onsite with a global financial services firm in
Edinburgh.

In this role, you'll be responsible for performing ergonomic assessments, creating and overseeing health and safety protocols for the company and ensuring that staff members are properly informed regarding emergency preparedness, use of protective equipment, and accident protocols.

You will have the opportunity to help create a workplace that is safe, compliant, and conducive to successful growth. You will have the chance to use communication to conduct trainings and ensure employee understanding of critical protocols.


To ensure success as a safety specialist, you should display exceptional knowledge of company safety policies and relevant occupational safety and health administration (OSHA) standards.

Ultimately, an outstanding safety specialist should be able to identify opportunities to minimize workplace health hazards quickly and efficiently. If you are detail oriented and committed to bettering the workplace, this could be the perfect job for you.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday

Requirements:

  • Ideally you should have a physiotherapy background
  • Public health or health and safety experience.
  • Experience with giving general health counseling to people with COVID19, exposure, or possible symptoms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of public health and current COVID19 and CDC guidelines and protocols is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ergonomics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and customer service skills.
  • Experience writing policies.
  • Experience with graphic design.
  • Able to think critically and quickly in a fluctuating environment for multiple situations at a time.
  • Confidence working in a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency with technology.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID19 including booster shot.

Compensation:

Base Salary Range:
£50,000/year
