As a Council we have the strategic target to create 10,000 new jobs by 2026, and the council is refreshing its relationship with existing businesses within the borough, to offer greater support and nurture them to grow, whilst also presenting Ealing as the premier place for new businesses to locate and start-up.
This newly formed department draws together the synergist functions of regeneration, economic development and skills in order to achieve seamless connections between the growing economy and skills pathways for local people.
We are now looking for an exceptional individual who possesses the skills and experience to successfully spearhead major inward investment opportunities such as West Tech Corridor, who has the partnership abilities to work effectively with a range of stakeholders including local businesses and learning institutions, and ultimately a leader who is motivated by improving places and the lives of local communities.
The successful candidate will be joining a talented and cohesive management team, will lead a department of top quality multi-disciplinary professionals, and will be joining an organisation with an appetite for innovation and continuous improvement.
