About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Game Economy Director to join our team and contribute to the development of our upcoming AAA Battle Royale 2.0 title, Off The Grid. As a key member of our Economy Design team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing in-game economies that drive revenue growth while maintaining player engagement and retention.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement in-game economies that balance revenue growth with player engagement and retention.
- Collaborate with Product and Data Science teams to define and evolve the game economy, influencing new feature development.
- Develop pricing strategies for in-game items, including collectibles and other purchasable assets.
- Adjust and fine-tune in-game currency to ensure a healthy and dynamic economic system.
- Develop micro and macroeconomic models to support various aspects of the game economy.
- Utilize player segmentation to identify new target groups and refine economy-related features accordingly.
- Run simulations and build predictive models to forecast the impact of changes to content and economy dynamics.
- 7+ years of experience in game design or product management, with a strong focus on economic systems.
- At least 5 years specializing in game economy design roles.
- Expertise in creating models, running simulations, and forecasting economic changes affecting key business metrics.
- Proven ability to mentor and coach team members effectively.
- Capable of managing economic systems across multiple game titles and initiatives simultaneously.
