About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Economy Director to join our team and contribute to the development of our flagship game, Off The Grid. As a key member of our economy design team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing in-game economies that drive revenue growth while maintaining player engagement and retention.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement economic systems that balance revenue growth with player satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and evolve the game economy, influencing new feature development.
  • Design and implement pricing strategies for in-game items, including collectibles and other purchasable assets.
  • Monitor and adjust in-game currency to ensure a healthy and dynamic economic system.
  • Develop and maintain economic models to support various aspects of the game economy.
  • Utilize player segmentation to identify new target groups and refine economy-related features accordingly.
  • Run simulations and build predictive models to forecast the impact of changes to content and economy dynamics.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in game design or product management, with a strong focus on economic systems.
  • At least 5 years specializing in game economy design roles.
  • Expertise in creating models, running simulations, and forecasting economic changes affecting key business metrics.
  • Proven ability to mentor and coach team members effectively.
  • Capable of managing economic systems across multiple game titles and initiatives simultaneously.
