KMS Hire is a wedding and event decoration business who work a lot in Bournemouth and the surrounding area providing full venue dressing and styling and on the day coordination as well as individual hire items.


Job Overview:

We are seeking ad hoc Event Staff to join our team for various events and functions.

As Event Staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of events by providing excellent guest services and hospitality.

The role is suited to someone who is looking for some extra work on an ad hoc basis as the days/hours are not guaranteed and vary week by week/month by month.


Responsibilities:

  • Set up event spaces according to provided layouts and instructions
  • Acting professionally with both wedding guests and venue staff
  • Support event organizers with various tasks during the event
  • Ensure the venue remains clean and organized throughout
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional event experiences

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in event support or hospitality is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customerfocused approach
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving abilities
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move event equipment as needed
