Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop engaging and entertaining lessons for children aged 6 months to 6 years old.
  • Utilize sensory and sports apparatus to enhance the learning experience.
  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities for children in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Provide individualized care and support to meet the needs of each child
  • Foster positive relationships with children & parents
  • Monitor and assess children's progress and provide feedback to parents
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and daily activities
  • Coordinate curriculum
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children in your care

Childcare Experience:

  • Previous 2 years experience in childcare is essential.
  • Ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment for young children.

Wage Rate:

- £11-£14 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Working Environment:


The Early Years Lead plays a pivotal role in shaping the early learning experiences of children at Leeds Gymnastics Academy.

The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the development of a tailored curriculum and foster positive relationships with both children and their families.
