Nexter Ltd is on the lookout for committed and qualified Nursery Nurses to work on an agency basis, providing support to outstanding nurseries in the area.
Position Overview:
In this rewarding position, you will be instrumental in creating a safe, engaging, and nurturing atmosphere for children of various ages. You will have the flexibility to select shifts that accommodate your lifestyle, with a minimum commitment of 8 hours per week (1 shift). Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering compassionate care and assistance to children, including support with personal hygiene, feeding, and daily routines.
- Designing and implementing stimulating activities that encourage physical, cognitive, social, and emotional growth, in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Monitoring and evaluating children's development, keeping precise records, and effectively communicating with other staff members.
- Establishing strong relationships with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress.
- Adapting to various classroom settings and age groups, showcasing flexibility and a readiness to learn.
- Ensuring the overall health and safety of the nursery environment.
Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 months' experience in a nursery environment (if no formal qualification).
- A sincere enthusiasm for working with children and supporting their development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
- The capability to collaborate effectively within a team and adjust to diverse settings.
