About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Nexter Ltd. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children of all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide sensitive care and support to children, including nappy changing, feeding, and toileting routines.
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development, aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records, and communicating effectively with room staff.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress.
- Adapt to different classroom routines and age groups, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
- Contribute to the overall health and safety of the nursery environment.

Requirements
- Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or a related field (or actively working towards a recognized qualification).
- Minimum of 3 months' experience working in a nursery setting (if no formal qualification).
- Genuine passion for working with children and fostering their development.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to different environments.
- For qualified staff, a full (or blended) current paediatric first aid certificate is required.
