Position:
Trainee or Qualified Pharmacy Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting pharmacists with dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
  • Providing excellent customer service and offering advice on overthecounter medications
  • Managing stock levels, shelving, and inventory control
  • Processing prescriptions and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
  • Offering support in the provision of clinical services, such as prescription collection and delivery
  • Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver exceptional patient care

Requirements:

  • For Trainee Pharmacy Assistants: No previous experience required; a genuine interest in pharmacy and a willingness to learn
  • For Qualified Pharmacy Assistants: Relevant qualifications and experience as a Pharmacy Assistant
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • A positive and proactive attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Basic computer literacy and the ability to learn new software systems
