Department Overview

The Partnerships team at Initiative stands as a cutting-edge marketplace expert group. They are responsible for identifying, facilitating, and overseeing the relationships between media, partners, and cultural channels for specific brands. This team leads partner assessments, provides strategic investment recommendations, and monitors key performance indicators in the market. Collaborating closely with Strategy and Communications Design, Partnerships brings communication experiences to life and fosters innovation. Their primary goal is to support overall company initiatives, deliver exceptional value to clients, and drive innovation forward.

Role Description

The Associate in Partnerships role at Initiative is an entry-level opportunity tailored for an enthusiastic, proactive individual keen on starting a career in media. This position plays a pivotal role in the integrated investment process, aiding the team in developing effective go-to-market strategies for various media formats. The main focus areas for this role include Print & Cinema.

This role is ideally suited for individuals who enjoy working with numbers, possess excellent communication skills, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and bring a level of curiosity that inspires the entire campaign team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client
    • Maintain client schedules and plans aligned with their objectives
    • Proactively address client requests
    Internal
    • Seek out mentorship and learning opportunities from Discipline leaders at Initiative
    • Engage in company events and departmental meetings
    • Develop proficiency in key programs and tools
    • Establish strong relationships with key media partners and share updates with the team
    • Organize and manage internal documentation and requests
    • Support reporting and tracking of budgets, savings, and values
    • Participate in campaign setup and execution tasks
    • Handle billing discrepancies efficiently
    • Contribute to analysis and post-campaign reports
    • Coordinate partner and team meetings
    • Engage in departmental projects as required
