Senior Therapies Administrator

The Portland Hospital, Great Portland Street, London

Full time, 37.5 hours per week

Shifts between 0800 and 1800 Monday - Friday

£ £32177 per annum
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Administrator to join our Therapies team within The Portland Hospital. You will be the first point of contact for all patients, GPs and Consultants coming through the department. This role is vital in providing a world class reception and admin service to the department.

What you'll do:

  • Greet patients at the therapy reception
  • Register Patients attending therapy
  • Manage all enquiries and referrals to the service
  • Booking initial appointments in consultation with therapists
  • Discuss funding options for appointments and support funding arrangements by forwarding relevant information to sponsors
  • Arrange follow up appointments
  • Work with the Business Admin team to manage patient accounts
  • Check departmental charges

What you'll bring:

  • Previous experience in similar role within healthcare is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer literate
