Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Type and transcribe documents accurately and legibly.
  • Use standard office terminology correctly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all records and information.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Operate a variety of office equipment, including computers, printers, and copiers.
  • Research and interpret information as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to staff, as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Typist within the NHS or healthcare industry.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well within a team.

Desirable:

  • Haematology experience

Job Benefits:

  • Monday-Friday, 8am4pm, 37.5 hours a week
