Typical Accountabilities:
  • Provide line management supervision to Apprentices for the duration of their programme, being the site contact point for all Early Careers issues, pastoral care and enquiries. For Apprentices delivering quarterly reviews, placement plans, and supporting disciplinary/capability situations
  • Develop a learning culture and environment that supports development of Apprentices' skills, knowledge and careers and provides clear guidance and advice to internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with Training Providers to monitor and deliver attendance, progress, performance and assessment of Apprentices on programme, providing coaching and development on a one to one basis, ensuring protected learning is in place
  • Organise and lead sitebased/local Apprentice Governance Group meetings and facilitate monthly Early Careers forums
  • Manage and maintain learner data, tracking progress, supporting selfassessment, quality audits and evaluation activities as required, meeting all regulatory requirements and ensuring all documentation and record keeping meets the required standards

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrate practical experience of developing and delivering early careers/trainee programmes and delivering specialist advice
  • Sound knowledge of Apprenticeship framework requirements and funding streams/systems and compliance/regulatory requirements
  • Demonstrable knowledge of current Skills coaching techniques and Safeguarding & Prevent legislation
  • Proven ability to work with varied internal and external stakeholders across a matrix structure
  • Confident and able to work autonomously with mínimal oversight
  • Flexible, adaptable and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Gain general understanding of the business area and recruitment principles
