Are you an IT Project Manager looking to make an impact with one of the UK's leading charities?

We're recruiting for an IT Project Manager to join us at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity and support our IT infrastructure and Cyber Security programme of work.

You'll play a pivotal role in making sure that our infrastructure is fit for the future andthat the charity is protected against cyber security threats.


About the role

As an IT Project Manager you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of a wide range of IT infrastructure projects.

You will work closely with our Head of IT, Technology Delivery Manger and Business Owners to understand what they want to achieve andwhy, build and manage a project team with the right skillset and be responsible for delivering the project on time, to budget and with plans in place to ensure that the change is rolled out effectively.

Alongside projects, you will work closely with the ITteam supporting BAU (business as usual) activities.

About the Team
You will be part of our Technology Delivery team consisting of another Project Manager and two Business Analysts. The team focusses on delivering technology solutions, services, systems and projects within our Technology Roadmap.

You will work with our IT teamas well as colleagues from across the Technology department and wider charity to drive forward an ambitious new strategy.


About you
You will be a team player who has previous experience of planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing Technology projects.

You will be used to building and leading project teams to deliver and be able to build trust quickly and effectively.

Youwill be a great communicator able to clearly articulate complex messages and technical information to a variety of audiences.

You will have experience of managing a project past go-live, planning what is needed to fully realise benefits and working with keystakeholders to roll out the change.

  • Have excellent organisation and time management skills

Our approach to hybrid working

This role is based in our Central London office (WC1N, opposite Russell Square underground) with a minimum of 2 days working in the offices and the option to work remotely up to three days a week.
