My client is a growing organisation in the recycling and waste management sector. They are engaged in waste management services. With their own recycling and transport facilities they can offer a full and comprehensive recycling service to potential customers.
You will be responsible for a small fleet of vehicles
Give work instructions and monitor the performance of drivers and operatives, i.e. briefing/debriefing during course of working day
Ensure fleet compliance with transport and environmental legislation
Ensure that all aspects of Health & Safety are adhered to, including H&S induction and training, operating procedures, near miss reporting and emergency procedures
You will have a good knowledge of legislation (CPC Road Haulage / ADR training would be ideal)
You will have excellent planning skills
You will have had experience in some capacity a transport role e.g, fleet, dispatch, distribution or logistics operation. You may have been a Logistics Supervisor / Distribution Planner / Dispatcher / Multi Drop Courier / Traffic Controller / Military Logistics Officer

You will have excellent IT skills and a good working knowledge of MS Office, ideally working with formulas on Excel.

Ideally Waste management / Recycling experience
ADR regulations
Health and Safety ideally IOSH Managing / Supervising Safely or NEBOSH, General HGV licence
Good MS Office skills and ideally exposure to PC based route planning packages
