Job Summary:
The Bradford Council is seeking a highly skilled Transport Supervisor to join its Passenger Transport Service team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of over 700 vulnerable passengers daily.
Main Responsibilities:
- Support the Passenger Transport Operations Management team in delivering a high-quality, cost-efficient, and safe transport service to home-to-school and day care services.
- Supervise and manage a team of c140 staff, comprising drivers and passenger escorts, to ensure they meet the needs of clients.
- Collaborate with the team to deliver a cost-effective and high-standard service that meets the needs of our clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in transport management or a related field.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
