About the Role:
We are excited to present an excellent opportunity for a talented Project Management Officer (PMO) to join our client's dynamic team.
In this role, you will be instrumental in managing high-profile overseas projects, working closely with the Project Manager to ensure robust project governance, timely delivery, and adherence to scope and quality standards.
Project Scheduling:
Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive project schedules to ensure all phases are clearly defined and timeframes are met.
Risk Management:
Identify potential project risks, create mitigation strategies, and implement risk management plans to minimize project disruption.
Issue Management:
Track and promptly resolve project issues to ensure minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables.
Stakeholder Communication:
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders regularly, ensuring transparency and fostering collaboration.
Coordinate with various departments to allocate resources effectively, ensuring project requirements are met.
Continuously evaluate project management processes and tools, recommending and implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including schedules, risk logs, issue logs, and status reports.
Team Leadership:
Provide guidance and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably within a start-up or fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Trello).
Strong understanding of project scheduling, risk management, and issue resolution.
Additional Requirements:
Due to the nature of the projects, the candidate will be required to obtain SC level security clearance. The role requires onsite presence in Cheltenham one day a week.
