The Practice Educator within the Nursing & Patient Experience team operates as an autonomous service designed primarily to support one of the following undergraduate nurses, new graduate practitioners, international nurse education, leadership, and CPD for nurses.
The purpose of this post is to support learning and education inGraduate Nursing.
The post holder will deliver pan trust education for Graduate Programmes year 1 and 2 for newly registered practitioners. They will work alongside our clinical education teams, ward managers, matrons, preceptors, corporate nursing directorate and our external partners.
They will provide a bespoke programme which is in line with the National Preceptorship framework and Capital Nurse Beyond Preceptorship.
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic, innovative, and motivated registered nurse to work in the field of clinical education.
You will have the opportunity to work across a variety of clinical settings, experience running an academic module, and support the future nursing workforce through education.
You will be supported in a passionate and friendly team of nurse educators, and actively encouraged to further your development in the role.
This role is offered on the basis of a WTE of hours a week.
