What you'll be responsible for:

  • The post holder will be working within a team to support the smooth running of outpatient booking management for patients at MYHT. This will involve close liaison with a wide range of internal and external staff, particularly direct telephone conversations with patients on a daily basis.
  • The post holder will ensure that patients are treated in the appropriate settings and order and that all clinics are utilised to capacity.
  • The post holder will provide efficient, clear systems of communication and administration to enable the department to run effectively and smoothly.

You'll learn the following whilst working at the trust:

  • An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  • Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  • A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation

You'll have the following skills/experience:

  • GCSE in English Language and Maths or equivalent/experience
  • Experience of working with filing system
  • System knowledge eCamis, ERS/ICE/Cito
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Microsoft Office package knowledge e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel
