Night Shift - QC Operator


My client is a global broadcast media distribution company, they are currently expanding their London HQ and are looking for an experience QC Operator to join their night shift team.

This role is instrumental in driving optimal quality standards across the QC department.

Reporting to the QC Supervisor you will be responsible for reviewing content from clients and generating log reports that can be sent directly to them.

This role will command a good eye for detail, strategic thinking and provide expertise throughout the entire QC process.

A strong sense of quality of ownership and a can-do approach is also required with the ability to work hard on your own initiative whilst maintaining focus to meet deadlines.


Hours will be - Monday night – Friday night, alternate weekly shifts of 8PM – 5AM and 10PM – 7AM respectively.

This role will be based on site full time in Central London.

Responsibilities will include:

nAchieve quality targets set by the Clients, platforms, broadcasternEnsure the client's work is delivered efficiently, on time and to a high standard.nBe an expert for all QC workflows and technologies.nWork closely with supervisors to implement procedures to effectively plan all work going through the area, giving the business a clear overview of utilization.nHelp maintain client relationships and client retention alongside the account management and sales team.


nTo be considered you must have:

nExpert knowledge of QC workflows in the digital media supply chain industry with at least 4 years of experience in a similar role.nArticulate and confident communication skills.nAbility to work on multiple projects whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy.nA can-do approach to all tasks set by clients, platforms, and the company.nA team player mentality and be personable, professional, and calm.nExperience with leading continuous improvement projects.

nExcellent working knowledge of file formats and specifications and the required workflows to process these in the most efficient waynAbility to work hard on own initiative whilst maintaining focus to meet deadlinesnAdobe Premiere knowledge, along with Cortex and IrisnKnowledge of broadcast, Netflix, Amazon, and other platform specificationsnIf you haven't heard from us within 7 working days its likely you have been unsuccessful this time around, please keep an eye on our website for future opportunities
