As a Senior Sales Manager, you will lead a mixed team of account managers and new business developers.

This is an ideal position for a leader with previous experience in building and leading high performing teams, as well as with a track record of being a coach and mentor

Responsibilities:

  • Achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets, through managing a SME sales team of Account Managers, each of whom will have a book of approx. 100 named accounts, and a team of Business Developers focused on new logo accounts

To design, implement and execute a concise go to market plan with the team to target high growth customers in the set territory, delivering on overall growth goals

Managing forecasts and pipeline coverage accurately on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis through use of our CRM system (Salesforce)

  • Recruiting, developing, managing, and creating a team culture of target overachievement through strong processes, excellent selling and service skills, and an atmosphere of dedication, passion, confidence, and fun

Finding new opportunities for up-sell and cross-sell and proactively managing risk within the territory across the team

Aiding the development of the team through sales and product training on a regular basis to ensure each member of the team is enabled to overachieve

Working with colleagues across functions (Consulting, Marketing, Product Specialists and Content Leads) to set short and long-term sales strategies, providing market and customer feedback to accelerate overall performance with set territory

  • Managing a London based team with hybrid working arrangements, creating a strong sense of commercial urgency and purpose
  • Represent the business across all key conferences and association meetings across the territory

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of B2B solution sales management experience, including a proven track record of beating revenue goals year on year
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in life science/ pharmaceutical discipline
  • Proven ability to lead a sales team, relying on extensive experience and judgement to accomplish sales goals
  • Experience selling into the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Strong experience in coaching and mentoring others
  • Providing coaching and performance management to improve individual and team performance.
