Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for an ambitious and driven B2C PR Account Manager (£35k DOE) to join an industry leading PR agency focusing on campaigns for well-known clients. You'll work with some great names and businesses fighting to become the next Unicorn in their space. This is a hybrid role; you will have to be able to commute to their Manchester based office a couple of times a week.

Role: PR Account Manager

Location: Central Manchester Salary: £30k-£35k Focus 5 Recruitment are looking for an ambitious and driven B2C PR Account Manager (£35k DOE) to join an industry leading PR agency focusing on campaigns for well-known clients. You'll work with some great names and businesses fighting to become the next Unicorn in their space. This is a hybrid role; you will have to be able to commute to their Manchester based office a couple of times a week. They offer a unique way of running PR campaigns, whether it's whitepapers, thought leadership, events or infographics, they are expert content creators, combining this with targeted media relations programs to support their clients' new business strategies. As the PR Account Manager, you will have at least 2 years' experience in PR. You will bring with you a passion for content production, media relationships and working as part of a team. You will have excellent writing skills and the capability to work to client briefs. Your role will be busy & responsible, giving you the opportunity to reap great rewards and progress along the way. Your PR Account Manager Role Will Involve
  • Developing industry, sector and product focused PR campaigns
  • Acting as daily point of contact with key media contacts
  • Contributing to daily meetings, and liaising and updating clients on PR activities
  • Keeping abreast of current PR trends and tools
  • Building client relationships and maintaining a network of media contacts including journalists and industry spokespeople
  • Contributing to both traditional PR and social media projects
  • Developing news angles, stories and pitches to further the client's profile, products and services.
  • Helping to fulfill the client's key performance indicators
You will be the ideal PR Account Manager candidate due to your:
  • B2C PR experience
  • Experience of working on PR accounts or campaigns
  • Agency experience is preferred
  • Evidence of copywriting, marketing and report writing, social media, event management and client liaison skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Aptitude to network and build relationships
