Job Summary

We are looking for someone to join our friendly team in Sidcup. You will be working under the supervision of our experienced Parts Supervisor - full training will be provided


The parts department is responsible for all parts ordering, and control of parts allocation and the parts department must keep all necessary departments aware of any changes to parts supply to help the workflow.

Parts supply must be watched at all times, discounts checked and re-negotiated where possible. A good relationship with suppliers is most important, and must be sustained at all times.

If problems arise with suppliers, such as continued supply of incorrect parts or slow delivery times then the management should be made aware of this immediately.


Responsibilities and Duties

Assisting our Parts Supervisor with:
Liaising with suppliers by phone and in person

Ordering all parts, genuine or non-genuine as per guidelines

Loading parts onto the management system

Checking all parts for damage

Checking all parts are correct

Allocating parts to job

Storing parts safely and securely

Checking parts discount

Returning unused/incorrect parts

Obtaining credit for returned parts

Arranging sub-contractors

Any other duties associated with the parts department

Salary:
£7.50-£10.50 per hour
