PositionnWe're currently seeking a Environmental Consultant - Permitting to contribute to the management of and develop the work of the environmental permitting team.
ResponsibilitiesnContribute to the team's multidisciplinary work and manage the preparation of work.nEngage with existing clients.nPrepare quotes and invoices, support the management of projects.
RequirementsnExcellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work as part of a team and to engage with clients and regulators.nExcellent time and organisational skills allowing completion of work to time and budget.nTake responsibility for project delivery, use initiative and work without supervision.nExcellent written skills.
EssentialnFirst degree in a relevant Science or Geography or Civil EngineeringnGood IT skills especially MS Word and Excel.nA minimum 5 years relevant experience.nExcellent knowledge of permitting and how permitting and other regulatory frameworks interact.nDetailed understanding of environmental risk assessment tools e.g.
DesirablesnRelevant higher degree.
