We have an exciting new opportunity to join our growing business as our Solar/Renewable Energy Surveyor.

In this key role, you'll work closely with a range of internal stakeholders whilst supporting the business as our Specialist Solar Energy Surveyor, providing support and advice, liaising with clients and internal teams on technical matters.


What will you do?

  • Conduct initial sales calls, presentations, and factfinding calls to assess suitability, requirements of prequalified potential customers to discuss the benefits of our solar energy and battery products, and the design of a system to suit their energy needs.
  • Carry out detailed surveys/site surveys and return on investment predictions for solar PV appraisal including roof, electrical and health and safety considerations to assist with derisking client projects.
  • Desktop solar 3D modelling (Easy PV) and remote virtual surveys
  • Project management of solar PV projects working with internal teams, appointed specialist contractors, regulatory bodies (DNO, planning, structural) and clients which can range from £6k to £1 Million.
  • Assisting with coordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required.

About You

  • You must have 12 months + experience as a Solar / Renewable Energy Surveyor
  • You will have the required soft skills for speaking to customers and partners in a clear and engaging manner with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • You will have basic electrical knowledge particularly when it comes to being familiar with domestic electrical equipment, switchgear and renewable energy products.
  • You understand processes as a whole and being able to see the "why" behind each stage and how that delivers our customer proposition.
  • You have the ability to work collaboratively, use your own initiative, multitask and work well under pressure.
