**Passenger Assistant (Chorley District)

Helping the most vulnerable people in our community get to where they need to be each day is what this role is about.

Whether they are children with special educational needs or disabilities going to school or older people getting to see their friends at a day centre, that is what we do in the Travelcare service.

If you are caring and reliable this could be the role for you.

In this role your duties include:

  • Providing care duties associated with transport services.
  • Working as part of a team.
  • Ensuring that all communication issued by the service is followed and adhered to.
  • Completion of records as required.
The role is 13 hours per week on an annual aggregated hours basis.

This means that during school term time the hours are 15 per week and 14 per week during school holidays.

This position will be working afternoons - Monday - Friday 14:30 - 18:00

The base location is our Chorley site at Foster field day centre on Eaves Lane.
