Madisons Recruitment are recruiting for a Fleet Manager to join out client based in Kent.

The main purpose of the role is to support with the general running of the business, ensuring the efficient management of the fleet from their office. You will also need to oversee fleet operations from their Southeast Depots as well.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring fleet management systems are up to date and all vehicles are fit for purpose
  • Dealing with mechanical issues and general maintenance in a cost - effective way, liaising with leasing companies and main dealers to ensure warranty issues are dealt with swiftly
  • Take responsibility to identify areas of improvement and implement
  • Ensure regular maintenance of the IPV fleet and adherence to the O-license
  • Maintain a good supply of vehicle consumables to include H&S equipment swaps and regular checks
  • Manage the vehicle checks and deal with non-conformances, escalating to managers when staff fail to meet requirements
  • Deal with day to day driver management to include regular license checks, ensuring suitability for driving
  • Deal with basic maintenance to keep fleet in service

Requirements

  • Full UK Manual Driving License
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Fleet Operations or on a similar role
  • Good knowledge of fleet operations and vehicle maintenance
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexibility to work within multiple sites
