Perenco's fleet includes a variety of compression and generation sets, featuring:

  • Siemens SGT-600 Gas Generator driving 2 x Delaval Stork Centrifugal Compressors (Single Train).
  • 2 x Siemens SGT-A35 DLE (RB211-24GT DLE) Gas Generators driving 2 x Dresser Rand Centrifugal Compressors (Dual Train).
  • 3 x Ruston Gas Turbine TB5400 Power Generation Sets.
  • 2 x SGT-100-2S Gas Generators driving 2 x Dresser Rand Centrifugal Compressors (Dual Train).
  • 1 x Solar Centaur 40 Power Generator Set.
  • 2 x Electric Drive Howden Screw Compressors (Dual Train).

While full expertise in each type of equipment is not expected, a comprehensive understanding of high-speed rotating equipment and support systems, both practical and theoretical, is vital.

This role involves a shift rotation of 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off, operating in the field across all onshore and offshore assets, as well as required office-based work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage planned maintenance activities for all rotating equipment.
  • Provide technical support to onshore and offshore assets.
  • Participate in vendor meetings, project HAZOPs, and design reviews.
  • Approve project commissioning procedures and review vendors' test procedures.
  • Oversee repair and overhaul of rotating equipment, including vendor management.
  • Refine maintenance strategies, develop performance monitoring programs, and conduct failure mode analysis.
  • Review critical spare parts and drive reliability improvements.
  • Issue technical alerts and ensure accurate maintenance information.
  • Enhance personal competency through training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Safety Critical Tasks:

  • Maintain all equipment to manufacturers' specifications.

Safety & Environmentally Critical Courses:

  • Equipment Specific Operation and Maintenance Course.
  • Confined Space Entry & BA (Breathing Apparatus).
  • Dry Gas Seal Training.
  • Alignment Training.
  • Vibration Analysis.
  • Borescope Training.

Key Requirements:

  • Engineering Degree or HNC/HND with relevant experience.
  • Experience in the support and maintenance of high-speed rotating equipment.
  • Basic knowledge of turbine control is beneficial.
