About this Scheme
We are looking for ambitious and data-driven individuals to join us, working within our Commercial job family.
From understanding market trends and shopper preferences, through to development and supporting the launch of new products, our Commercial teams must maintain close relationships with our retail customers, suppliers, and internal teams to manage our product portfolio, sales and promotional plans to achieve the best possible results.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in the commerciality of food manufacturing.
Our 24-month programme is an exciting opportunity to take an accelerated route into management by gaining broad experience as you work across four different 6-month placement roles.
On completion of the scheme our Graduates are offered a permanent role, matched to your key strengths and longer-term ambitions.

From your line managers and colleagues, through to L&D coaches and a dedicated Early Careers team, you will be provided with the support you need to succeed.
And as your development is a priority to us, we also offer you individual, professional mentoring with a senior leader who will help you to gain unique understanding from a leadership perspective and build your professional network.
Graduate Development Programme - delivered in partnership with one of the UK's leading learning providers the programme offers lively experiential learning modules to progress your understanding of business operations and management, and you will put your learning into practice in the workplace to build on your new skills, ultimately leading to a formal management qualification.
The Right Person
***We want to work with people who are passionate about food and have an appetite for challenge - turning your academic success into commercial progress will take commitment, energy and skill. We operate in a fast-paced industry so excellent organisation skills are essential. You will be confident with excellent interpersonal skills and be flexible to relocate to our Samworth sites based in Leicester, Cornwall, Worksop, Shoreham-by-Sea, and Manchester (relocation support provided). You will be highly numerate with exceptional analytical skills as well as have a commitment to quality, and safety.
In addition, you will require to meet the following criteria:
- On target to achieve or achieved 2:2 or above in your undergraduate degree
