Production Operative/packer

We blend, fill and package our own goods as well as producing in house product labels for our customers throughout the world.
You will be engaged in a variety of packaging operations using machines and the completion of orders for customers from stock.
You will work from picking lists to ensure products are labelled and packaged correctly, palletised and despatched within set time frames.
Responsibilities include:
Following order picking lists
Quality assurance - meeting product specifications
Health & Safety - observing safe practice
Housekeeping - keeping work area clear and clean
Liasing with colleagues as required.
You will need to be able to show:
Drive to get the job done.
High levels of flexibility and ability to change direction at a moments notice.
Good communication skills.
Materials handling, this role requires some heavy lifting. A counterbalance forklift licence is an advantage.
Experience with computerised sales order processing would be an advantage. Fork Lift experience an advantage.
