The Role:

Report to the Production Supervisors, your duties include:

  • Rewinding, labelling, and packaging of all product lines.
  • Mixing and blending of raw materials.
  • Helping machine setters and inspecting product quality during the production process.
  • Organisation of goods inward/outward and storage areas.
  • Efficient use of equipment and raw materials.
  • Ensuring the quality of products are to specification.
  • Filling out production documentation
  • Die and equipment maintenance.
  • Be responsible for working in a safe manner in all production operations.
  • Housekeeping in work areas.
  • Aid in the continuous improvement of the production area.
  • Attend Health and Safety meetings.
  • Such additional tasks, duties
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or HNC/HND
  • Forklift licence would be advantageous.

Working hours:

40 hrs a week, Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm

Salary and Benefits:

- £10.6 to £11.0/hrs - based on experience.

  • 25 days holiday/year + bank holidays
