About the Quantity Surveyor Role at Old Oak Common Project

Join our Asset & Technology Solutions team as a Quantity Surveyor on the Old Oak Common project, where you'll tackle challenging work that truly impacts our business and the surrounding world.

Responsibilities of Quantity Surveyor:

  • Applies principles of cost management & elemental cost analysis, considering life cycle implications where necessary
  • Undertakes risk analysis in the construction context
  • Leads contractual delivery, including CEs, EWN, and GC submissions
  • Reviews project progress against various timelines
  • Prepares delay and disruption programs
  • Monitors and controls critical process elements
  • Evaluates and negotiates tenders with subcontractors and suppliers
  • Assesses risks and opportunities as part of risk management
  • Manages customer and stakeholder relationships in their area of responsibility
  • Conducts risk and opportunity analysis
  • Advises on contractual matters and prepares correspondence

Requirements:

  • BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience (Desirable)
  • Membership of RICS, ICES, or CIOB
  • Background in Construction, Civils, or Assets
  • Strong communication skills
  • Aligns with organizational aims and objectives
  • Addresses customer needs effectively
  • Manages opportunities and threats adeptly
