Quantity Surveyor Job Description

Madisons Recruitment is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our client's team in North West London. As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively with the supply chain and team members to ensure smooth project execution
  • Prepare detailed estimates and purchase orders for all products and services
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates and manage bid pricing from suppliers
  • Develop cost analysis and establish working relationships with subcontractors
  • Submit tenders in a timely manner and present adjudications to seniors
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in construction estimating
  • A relevant degree in a related field
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes and refurbishment
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to multitask
