Looking to speak with people who have an SEN tutor background with either adults or children, and want to join an
Educational service in Southport.

Working alongside an experienced team of support workers, teaching assistants, team leaders and senior management staff

Location

Duties:

  • Work in an educational service which supports young people with
    learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and complex barriers to learning:
  • Work within the staff team to ensure the service offers
    CQC standard support
  • To deliver the best possible outcomes for the young people in your educational care, allowing them to develop and flourish under your tutorage
  • Promote relationships between staff, young people and the community
  • Ensure lessons are engaging and tailored towards the interests and aspirations of your students
  • Maintain an organised, cohesive plan for your academic settings
  • Maintain records of academic and independent achievement for each student
  • Providing evidence of students' progress
  • Teaching small groups of learners, along with TA's and Support workers

Pay and hours:

- £26,100

  • Full time
  • 8 hours a day, 40 hours per week
  • 40 hours per week
  • Fulltime permanent position

Requirements:

  • Experience within a
    similar SEN teaching setting
  • Be able to teach English to a level 2 standard
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Clean DBS
