Our Care Support Workers provide person-centred care to patients, so if you are kind, compassionate, and always act in the best interests of others, we want to hear from you. Here at Rotherham, we have a variety of full and part-time roles, including:
- Qualified CSWs - individuals with NVQ/Health & Social Care certificate or equivalent - Salary: Band 2
- Experienced CSWs with skills and experience to provide outstanding care, even without a formal healthcare qualification
Patients on our wards require care 24/7, meaning shifts cover long and short days, nights, and weekends. We offer flexible hours and patterns. Main Duties of the Job:
- Working alongside Nurses and Healthcare Professionals to provide a positive experience to patients and their relatives
- Supporting patients with tasks like washing, dressing, toileting, bed making, serving meals, mobilizing, and ensuring comfort
- Encouraging lifestyle and behavior changes
Some aspects of care work can be distressing, but you must assist patients with personal care sensitively and communicate empathetically with patients and relatives.
