Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Human Resources Assistant.
As a Human Resources Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department and ensuring smooth operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in gaining experience in the field of human resources.Duties:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks
- Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and inquiries
- Support employee relations by addressing inquiries and providing guidance on HR policies and procedures
- Assist with HRIS data entry and maintenance
- Generate reports and assist with data analysis as needed
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong relationship management skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels of the organization
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday or PeopleSoft
- Knowledge of human resources principles and practices
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Taleo is preferred
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
